We are really sad to inform you that the concert planned for Vanilla Ninja’s 10th anniversary will not take place. Katrin Siska, band’s keyboardist, wrote an e-mail to Ninjaportaal saying that probably the performance would be cancelled, because all the band’s members are busy with their own projects and can not manage preparing such celebrations. You can still send in your videos about being a Vanilla Ninja fan, but noone can assure you if and what for they will be used. Anyway, still keeping the last residues of our hopes, we can assure you that Love-Ninjas.com will do everything what is possible to organize a fanmeeting with Vanilla Ninja. Let’s still be tough enough together and let’s not give up! Let’s all fight for the band which we have loved, if the band does not want to fight for itself.

Piret: But you know, for ourselves we decided that we do not want to do the same thing right now. We need some change, but I think that after 3 or 5 years or so it would be nice to come back to the roots of the band.

Wow, I’m actually not surprised but seriously, what person in the world couldn’t find one, one lousy evening for themselves to be free and give us a concert? I think it just shows how disrespectful they are to their fans plus VN as something that made them famous.
I think you shouldn’t even bother with the fan-meeting, I believe most of us are not willing to spend our money just for that. At least going to hear their music live seemed like a fairly reasonable thing to spend money on.
Kudos to everybody who works on getting us the news because I think they really aren’t worth bothering with anymore. Sorry for the rant, I’m just so pissed of right now :\

I can’t really say I’m surprised, actually I was kinda expecting something like this… I always had a feeling that this ’10th anniversary’ thing was just an excuse for not saying openly: ‘Ok, we’re done with the band, VN doesn’t exist anymore, sorry fans’… I guess they didn’t want to officialy announce that and disappoint their fans, so they kept pushing with the story about this anniversary, until the day actually came, and now when there’s no more excuses so it’s like ‘no free time’ again.
But not being able to find some time for one concert after all this years… it’ disappointing
And I’m done with hoping and waiting… I think it’s all clear now, VN doesn’t exist anymore… and they should have told that to us long ago instead of fooling us!

Hmm.. So this is what we get for those 10 years of being fans and supporting this band?
Wasn’t it easier to tell the truth a long time ago rather than mislead us? This is a really mean thing to happen after this time. And the way it happened has to be the most disrespectful, selfish and cruel thing ever. Basically, we can’t force VN to organize a concert but at least a proper official statement about the band’s situation would be nice. But it seems nobody cares about the fans anymore. I’ve spent 1/3 of my whole life (8 yrs.) running this website and I’m telling you this is not nice for me now. I feel disregarded like never before. And something tells me I’m not the only one who feels this way! This is just quite emotional for someone who supported the band for many years.
Well, anyway thanks Katrin for telling us, the other two have probably forgotten who put them in a place where they used to be and they possibly don’t give a sh*t at all. Katrin was always sincere for band’s fans.

We create sites, dedicate our time to support them and we only get “oops, sorry b**ches but we can do a concert this year because we’re so busy and can’t make one f**king concert per year”.

I completely agree with Tom and the rest of you! We don’t have a purpose to run this site anymore…
They even can’t make videos for fans by themselves. Remember video with greetings for Christmas, New Year? It was thanks to Hector who filmed them because they can’t do it by themselves to show at least some respect and love to fans.
I’m not sure if I’m Vanilla Ninja fan anymore.. Giving so much time for site, promoting band and what we get back? No thanks, no nothing.
..and yes, I’m mad, sad and extremely dissapointed by their actions..
It seems like Kati is the only one left who still <3 and informs us.. others have only spinning dollars in their heads I guess (and those dollars are there because WE ALL supported them all this time)..
and we did this site without only to show love, respect to them (and of course spent money for hosting, domen etc.). Now there isn't a reason to continue a site anymore.
I think it would be a good decision to close the site (or go on hiatus), to show that we are seriously dissapointed.

Well, I guess I´ve seen this coming for a long time, and yeah, they don´t deserve any kind of support from us right now, (maybe tomorrow I´ll think different) and I´ve always thought and said that Katrin is the only one that wants to be honest with us, I always felt it that way, but don´t know why.
Yeah, we dedicate our lives to them, spend lots of money buying stuff, travelling for them, etc… and all we get are fake promises and lies… I think if they read this they couldn´t blame us…
C´mon, they are humans, I would understand some statement like “We want to make different things, go on our own way” 3 years ago or whatever, all I ask/asked is HONESTY, I don´t want them to be in a band that they don´t want to be anymore, I would be extremely sad, but not angry like lately. But this is what we get, I think they made it so wrong….
I think it´s time for an official statement…and not that shit…

Well yea this was my last hope…i found them in 2006 and all the fans already said they just finished this all VN stuff cuz bla bla blah.. i was like i know one day they will be back… i was waitin 6 years… im from slovakia, and told to some fans around we should go all together to estonia for a jubileum concert… and now?? i feel destroyed… i bought almost all their cd to make comple my discography… but well looks like i love them more then they love us… it makes me sad… really looks like they r officially gone, but i hate when ppl r lieing… better to suffer from the truth then from the dilemma…anyway… on my dream list there was a VN concert… looks like my dreams will never come true… thx…this made my 2012 a perfect nice year… *tearful eyes*
damn reading ur comments guys i really can feel this all disappointment and hurt… but u all r right… i still have so many VN songs in my handy as i just miss them if i dont put them on it…some of them is still the most played ones in my handy… but well yea… one sided friendship and love never is good… and yea i also feel left out and hurted… DAMN
ahh and i damn wanted to learn songs from them to play on guitar …
