29th August 2008 Piret about PCD performance

How did you feel while performing on the stage?
I was a little uptighted, I wasn't sure whether I remembered all dance steps and lyrics, what made me a bit stressed. However, I liked that I could play a role of another person for a moment.

Are you delighted about the performance?
For such a short period, which was only a week, I think that everything went well. I believe that we made some really good work.

Was singing connected with dancing a problem for you?
Of course. It was hard, but the whole fun was to check if we could manage it.

Do you think that you could join a similar project in the future?
It depends on the project. In the beginning, the idea of Pussycat Dolls wasn't really interesting to me, but after we had discussed it with Lenna, we decided to join in. Anyway, it was only for fun. After the performance I gained some new experiences.

Do you think that performance in Estonian Pussycat Dolls was the first and the last or could there be a possibility that you performed as PCD again?
Estonian Pussycat Dolls was prepared only for this one and only evening. I had a good team and during the rehearsals it was always fun. I'd love to work with these people in the future. It was very nice to meet Alis, who is a very friendly girl and moreover, she taught us how to dance.

29th August 2008 Summer interview with Lenna: Album in planning

Eesti Päevaleht made an interview with Lenna.

The singer of Vanilla Ninja, Lenna Kuurmaa, admits that the competition called "Eurovision" makes her sad. But she explained that there will be a new Vanilla Ninja album.
-The interview:
What did you do exciting in this summer? Holiday or holiday with work?
This summer I had two tours: The first one was at the beginning of the summer with Vanilla Ninja and the second one, where I performed alone with Dagö and Chalice. It was nice to travel through Estonia. The tours were successful and gave me self-confidence. I also visited the Õllesummer-festival and participated in a film-music gala concert. With other words: I made holiday and I worked and now, since the tours are over I just visited some summer performances. Lately, I’ve been at Naissaar "Katkuaja lood". Furthermore, recommend "Vahepeatust" by Uku Uusberg.
How many performances in foreign countries?
We haven’t been in a foreign country this summer. And we think – after the long break – it is time to record a new album. ’Cause after that you can see how things will develop. Now it seems like we found someone with whom we can work together in the future. The tour in Latin America was delayed for some months because our agent there fell ill seriously.
You still act. Is there something exciting in “Kodu keset linna”?
It is an experience, to work with professional actors and a strong team. The serial is a funny and nice change.
What does Vanilla Ninja think about the Eurovision Song Contest? Do you keep out of the whole competition?
The latest Eurovision left a sad impression. I don’t know why those finales are still organised. I think that it’s not our target to participate there once more – for sure. We would have been proud to participate for Estonia, but this event lost its idea and its glamour.
Where and when can we see you in the next time?
You can see me again in the theatre NO99 at the performance of Pericles. Till then, you can hear me in Radio Sky Plus quite often. The next main-performance with Vanilla Ninja is at the Tele-2 Go-Live concert. Now that the summer was full of work, I allow myself a bit of free time in August. But it’s still possible to hear me sing in Talinn ;)

10th August 2008 Katrin About Politics

For Katrin Siska, the beautiful member of Vanilla Ninja, politicians ae playing a bad game and taking part in elections hasn’t always been the most important thing to her. "Policy is for me like policy", says Katrin and adds, that she goes to elections, if she wants to. When she was young she did not attach too much important to elections, but now she tries to achieve her citizen’s responsibility. “The way policy is making dealings, can’t be called a clean game, but in my opinion there is no clean game around the world at all. Everything has a black dot somewhere.”

Chilean singer recommends Vanilla Ninja music. "SON BUENISIMAS!!"
Ricky Sabor was born in Santiago, Chile. He has at least 4 albums on his credit. The third cd 'Amigo Mio' is a collection of his own themes (tropical music), which are heard in Latin nightclubs and radio stations in Stockholm. In December the following year was published his latest CD titled 'Dia lunes', which resulted primarily among Latin in Sweden and also in Chile where it is heard in a large number of radio stations throughout the country. He also participated festivals such as Festival de cumbia de Tensta, Kungsträdgården, Gävle city fest, Midsommarlatinoamericano, festival in Rolandhovsparken and Festival of midsommar enVårberg.

On his blog he recommends Vanilla Ninja music. "They are Vanilla Ninja, the girls from Estonia. They're very good, I recommend. On YouTube there is more of them" Ricky wrote his opinion above the video of 'Dangerzone'. He ends his post with "They're brilliant, aren't they?"

He noticed Vanilla Ninja earlier. On 2nd January he put video of 'Liar' on his official blog. About Vanilla Ninja success in Chile he says "I'm sure they're going to hit the market. Their music is amazing.". Still we wonderend how he liked the performance of "Birds Of Peace" and he answered "Awesome. These ladies rock."

4th August 2008 Katrin about Vanilla Ninja ice cream

    Katrin's Summer temptation
"I have a very big temptation, that is the Vanilla Ninja ice cream. This is one of my favourite sweets. I can say that sometimes I eat it more than enough. In Winter, I put the ice cream with pleasure in cocktails and add, for example, bananas or chocolate bars. In Summer, I simply take them with me and go for a walk. And this ice cream is my favorite because it is of our own group. It is a simply good ice cream, so light and very tasty."
